AGIBOT Debuts A3 Humanoid Robot in Europe, Launches UK Robot-as-a-Service Rental Model
AGIBOT unveiled its A3 humanoid in Europe and launched UK robot rental pricing starting at £1,999 a day, days after marking its 15,000th robot produced.

What We Know
The AGIBOT A3 that debuted in London has a lightweight 55-kilogram body reinforced with magnesium and titanium alloy, a dual-battery system rated for up to 10 hours of nominal battery life, and a battery-swap process that takes 10 seconds, according to Robotics and Automation News. Standing 173 centimeters tall with a 1:9 head-to-body ratio, the robot is designed to combine stronger motion performance, longer operating time and a more natural appearance, according to Robotics and Automation News.
Under the new UK RaaS program, AGIBOT humanoid robots will be available to rent starting at £1,999 per day, while quadruped robots start at £899 per day, with localized deployment and operational support included, according to Robotics and Automation News.
“The UK is a strategically important market for AGIBOT’s global expansion,” said William Shi, president of EU and US Markets at AGIBOT. “It has a strong innovation ecosystem, a mature partner network, and diverse real-world scenarios where embodied AI can create value,” according to Robotics and Automation News.
The London event followed AGIBOT’s announcement that its 15,000th robot — an AGIBOT G2 wheeled mobile manipulator with a humanoid torso and arms built for industrial applications — had completed production, according to The Robot Report. Dr. Yao Maoqing, partner and senior vice president at AGIBOT, called the rollout “not only an important milestone in AGIBOT’s mass production and engineering delivery capabilities, but also a reflection of the broader industry’s move toward scaled deployment in real-world settings,” according to The Robot Report.
AGIBOT, founded in 2023 and based in Shanghai, said expanding production from 1,000 to 5,000 units took approximately one year, while the jump from 5,000 to 10,000 units took only three months — more than a fourfold acceleration, according to The Robot Report. In late June, the company logged approximately 100 cumulative hours of factory livestream operations in which a G2 robot performed quality inspections of tablets alongside human line workers, according to The Robot Report. Market research firm Omdia ranked AGIBOT first globally in humanoid robot shipments during 2025, crediting the company with 5,168 annual shipments and a 39 percent share of the global market, according to The Robot Report.
The UK RaaS pricing builds on a broader rental push AGIBOT began in March, when it unveiled a global online storefront and rental platform at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, offering rentals starting at €899 a day across 17 countries and regions, including the UK, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and North America, according to Humanoids Daily. At the time, Shi — then described as AGIBOT’s president of Europe — said, “We see Europe as a vital hub for innovation,” and that the company aims to “co-develop a robust embodied AI ecosystem” through open collaboration, according to Humanoids Daily.
